A vibrant celebration of South Asian arts, music, dance, culture and heritage
UK Media and Events worked with the organisers of the Preston City Mela in June 2023 to deliver this outstanding community event in Lancashire.
The history of the first Mela in Preston dates back to 1992, and Preston has hosted the event every year since. In 2023, the event took place at Moor Park and the organisers required a large festival-style stage set up, a suitable event power solution, sound equipment, lighting and an event team to manage this throughout the day.
Our event team were proud to be a part of the free, fun and celebratory event in Lancashire, which included:
