We provided support with the pre-event planning and supplied various services for Chorley’s Christmas Lights Switch on 2022.
Despite the weather, the people of Chorley came out to enjoy a packed line-up including performances from DLN Dance troupe – Minitrons, local young talent from Inspire Youth Zone, Suggs tribute act – Gary Corcoran, the North West’s premier tribute to the legendary Freddie Mercury – Ian Adams, and headline act, Britain’s Got Talent 2020 finalist – Steve Royle. The event was hosted by Rock FM breakfast show presenter – Joel Ross.
Other attendees included Speaker of the House of Commons, Sir Lindsay Hoyle MP, championship boxer Jack Catterall, and Mock the Week regular, comedian Glenn Moore.
We supplied, set-up and de-rigged all PA, lighting, and AV equipment, an appropriate stage and stage-décor. Other services provided included fencing, and event security (by UKMAE Security).
During the event, our sound and lighting engineers helped put on the show, and we managed the entertainment schedule throughout. The show finale at ‘switch on’ included a special FX display using cool spark streams along with professional snow machines producing realistic snow!
